Old Rag Mountain, VA

A five hour hike located about 100 miles away from home near Shenandoah National Park. On the way there, I got lost looking for this place for three hours. Still worth the hike. Near the summit, you are required to scale rocks and such to reach the top. Great fun, hope to come back sometime in the fall when the leaves are different colors.
About half way up the mountain. Still a beautiful view.

Some interesting rocks on the way up.

Cool stairs.

My kick-ass backpack making a cameo.

Almost at the top. Check out those dark clouds coming in.

Finally at the summit. I stayed up there for about 10 seconds before running down the mountain before it started to storm.

At this point I was running down the mountain.

Yay, deer! They scared the hell out of me.
