Great Falls Park, VA

Located in McLean, VA, this national park covers both sides of the Potomac river. It's the border of Virginia and Maryland (I think?) and you can actually wave to people on the other side. This park is great for hiking: easy, but very scenic. This park also provides a nice picnic area with outlooks of the great falls if you're not up for hiking. However, the funnest part, by far, would have to be the rock climbing here. These rocks are PERFECT for rock climbing and I plan on going here more often. SUPER FUNSIES. Just make sure you get here before 12, the place gets crowded as hell.

The Great Falls. Photo taken at the outlook.

Finally at the water.

Those rocks: amazing for rock climbing and bouldering.

Who's that bad-ass?

Yeah, we climbed that. >:P

Pretty flower growing randomly out of the rocks.

Ruins located near the picnic area.

Taken from the Billy Goat Trail.

You can see our backpacks lying there; climbing with them on can be dangerous.
