Printers Working Again! Maplestory Design.

Well, I finally fixed my printer (stupid piece of crap) and I thought I would post pictures up before I go to sleep. These are some sketches I made for an MMORPG called Maplestory. They made a contest where people submit their ideas for new events in the game I thought I might take a chance.

This is the armor as the reward for the event in the game. All these pictures don't have any colors (like most of my other sketches) partly because I didn't have the time and partly because I just did this for fun without really putting all my effort into it.

This is the sketch of the boss that would be in the event. It's pretty unique and I thought it was pretty cool. The sad part is I submitted the pictures really small so I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna win.

This one isn't too good but it doesn't have to be. You can just look up to see the boss. These are just the boss' attacks.

Japan's Crisis

I know it happened a few days ago, but I just want to take the time now to acknowledge the crisis in Japan right now. I'm really sorry for anyone who has relatives in Japan or is living in Japan. They are a strong people and will make it through it. It would be really nice to send money and supplies to them, I've already sent a few dollars to the Red Cross, it's not much but it's good to help.

Computer Problems

Sorry I haven't been able to post any more pictures, I actually have a few to post up. My computer has been acting up and I have NO freaking clue why; well, it's more like my printer that's been acting up. I'll get into it today. Hopefully I can get it fixed without having to send it in. >:O

BIRTHDAY! And More Sketches!

It was my birthday a few days ago, Feb 4th :D, so I've been busy with plenty of things. I juuuuust finished one of the three drawings I'm about to upload a few hours ago. They're pretty legit, but the damned scanner doesn't make sharpies a straight black.... Why?
Drake's cover art for Thank Me Later. This is where the scanner didn't make the sharpie like a straight black. I plan on getting Adobe Photoshop (not to cheat or anything) to fix things like smudges and this type of crap. I also might get into digital art.

DAFT PUNK! This I can actually claim is my own work. I tried making a Daft Punk Poster but I ran out of ideas quick. I kept it on my desk for a few days to come back and work on it but I really had ran out of ways to write their names.

Linkin Park's Minutes to Midnight cover art. This one came out very nice, just wrote Park kinda messy.... And I forgot 2 other people... SORRY! They didn't fit on the paper!

I Lied, More Pictures

Well, I forgot I had these, and they're one of the bests I've done too! Check 'em out!

I had to scan this one in color because... well you can already see. It didn't pick too much of the color but it came out nice still.

Another video game pictures! Sorry, but this one was really nice and it took a long time to do (a week or so). It's.... Yuna? From Final Fantasy X and X-2? Maybe. I forget. But it's a girl from Final Fantasy.

Yep yep, now I promise those are the last of the ones I've already finished. The posts will be coming in much slower. I'm also working on getting a camera so I can take pictures too instead of posting sketches (which may seem kinda boring).

Animals

Well, we're basically done with the older sketches. Now we can look at more recent ones, but they're not new new if you know what I mean.

A panda sitting in a tree! Kinda looks like a stuffed animal... No, it does look like one.

Two cute little huskies. This picture got smudged up pretty bad. The first one I drew (right) made me really mad cause he ended up looking like that avatar kid from the cartoon so I just rushed through the second guy. It's a pretty horrible sketch.

Another tiger, this time it's not biting anything. This picture didn't take long to make and actually ended up looking pretty nice. I think I deserve a high-five. No? Ok...

A cool looking hawk. These freaking smudges are starting to piss me off now! I might have to buy Photoshop a better eraser. Don't worry, I don't use Photoshop or anything like that.

This picture actually ended up scanning pretty well. I didn't think it would work; didn't press down that hard with my pencil. Well, it's a puppy. And a cute one at that!

Everyone loves animals! Well, those were all the pictures I've had made already. Posts will be coming in much slower from now on. Looking forward to putting more pictures up!

Ooooo, Very Old Sketches

While looking through my sketch book, I found a few drawings I did a loooong time ago. There's no date on them so I can't tell when exactly I did them but they're pretty interesting to see how I've gotten better.

I have no clue what this is or where it's from. I'm gonna guess it's a homeless kid from.... China with water bottles on his back. And there's a turd underneath the Chinese letters.
You know what this is! The Blue Eye Dragon from Yu-Gi-Oh. Those were fun days when we used to whip out our cards and start fighting in the middle of the street. Those were the days guns weren't invented and rappers were only poets.

Another one I have no clue where it's from. A kid with a spear! Pretty cool, I guess.

There we go, all the really really old drawings I did. I'm planning on getting all my older drawings on the blog by the end of today.

...... Some More Old Sketches

Well I've started scanning the pictures using the grayscale setting. It shows the shading, but it also shows smudges and bends in the paper. Some of the smudges that come up I can't even see, so sorry about the quality. It's something you have to expect with old drawings that have been shoved in a book for many years.

I found this picture on Google and I thought it would be a neat idea. Too bad I was a lazy queer back then.

I drew this one when my friend was forcing me to draw at his dinner table. I had no clue what to draw so I started looking around. On the table was a PSP and my iPod playing some Scatman John... And this is what happened. An iPSP.

I think it's Megaman, I have no clue, it's been a while. He looks pretty cool, just his lower half is bigger than it's supposed to be. STUPID ME!!

Jesus Christ OMG! There's still a crap load of old drawings I have. At least I have already scanned them.. Just need stuff to say about them.

More Old Sketches!

Geez, I just realized how many sketches I had hidden in my book. Note that this isn't fun, cutting them out of the book and scanning them. It's even funner when I find out that the lines I drew so long ago are too light that they don't show up when I scan them. Was it worth it? YES!

Altair from Assassin's Creed. Although I was willing to go back and darken all my lines, I wasn't going to draw his face... I think he looks cooler with no face (not really...). Oh and sorry about the color, I had to scan the picture setting it to color instead of black and white because black and white did not pick up the shading.

Kratos from God of War. Yes that is a panda he is killing and yes it IS funny.

Guy from Maplestory. Well, this picture was a pain to get on here. I scanned it about 10 times before I finally decided to darken the lines. Turned out really nice.

Ok, that's enough for this post. I'm probably gonna post only 3 pictures per post now. Time to go eat some food..... Yes it's rice..

Old Sketches

Most of the work I will be posting will be sketches without the use of pens of colors; I'm not a fan of them. Here are some of my older sketches that I've done through the years (sorry about the picture quality, I'm learning as I go).
A drawing of Master Chief's head from the video game Halo. He's not finish but I drew it during class and stopped right as class was finished.
Nightmare from the video game Soul Calibur. Yes, I know I'm a nerdy kid, but as the years went on I started to draw..... non-video game sketches. You'll see what I mean.
A tiger eating a baseball, I call it Tiger Eating a Baseball. This was one of the covers of a Sports Illustrated magazines; I have no clue which.... BUT it's cool isn't it?

Welcome!

Hello, welcome to my new blog!
This blog will be completely dedicated to art work (for the most part, by me) which includes sketches, photos, and anything else that I may be sucked in to.
My art may not be too good, but I plan on improving, comments will be greatly appreciated and spread the word about my blog and art work :)
